Russ was band leader and played Lead Guitar for Rising Country Artist Cody Purvis in late 2014 and 2015. Russ was referred to Cody while Cody was represented by BLA in Nashville at the time.
He enjoyed playing many shows with Cody Purvis all over the US and around Nashville. Even playing acoustic guitar for Cody while Cody sang National Anthem at a Baltimore Orioles Game.
Russ left Cody to work with Rising Country Artist Songwriter Michael Tyler Represented by Platinum producer Michael Knox in 2015, when Knox offered Russ the new opportunity.
